Discovery Communications Awards Contract to STR Software to Implement Automated Fax System
STR Software was recently awarded a new contract from Discovery Communications (DCI) in Silver Spring, Md. STR Software will implement AventX® UNIX, an automated information delivery software product for faxing documents from Unix operating systems.
STR Software was recently awarded a new contract from Discovery Communications (DCI) in Silver Spring, Md. STR Software will implement AventX® UNIX, an automated information delivery software product for faxing documents from Unix operating systems. DCI will also incorporate the AventX WebManager to monitor and manage the delivery of their documents over the Web. The media and entertainment company chose STR Software for its direct interface to SAP and to protect their investment in their existing FAXCOM delivery servers, which are compatible with AventX software products.
STR Software of Richmond, Va., develops, markets and supports software products in business information delivery for host ERP applications like Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft and SAP.
