"American Idol" kicked off with judge (and I use that term veeeeeery loosely) Randy Jackson talking about the contestants being "In It To Win It." Aside from the fact that I think he gets paid everytime that expression gets used, it's almost more asinine than saying "eight hundred million percent" since I don't believe anyone auditions for "American Idol" without the intention of being "In It To Win It."
So, let's get a moratorium on that ridiculous saying. Please. Unless we make it a drinking game, in which case, I'm bombed.
Something a few of the contestants did last night as each served up two songs a piece, doubling their chances for greatness. Or in the case of James Durbin, doubling their chances to spiral into a freefall of Lusk-y proportions.
