Tiny, rising star Elias Washington was recently honored with a Merit Award by Jerry Rubin of the Activist Support Circle in Santa Monica, California.
The special event honors kids and families that support the ?No Toy Guns? for children campaign. The same day, Elias had the pleasure of being a representative for Friends of the Congo at the 2013 Cinema For Peace Gala at the Beverly Hills Hotel. He accompanied parents William Washingon II (Househusbands of Hollywood) and Sechita McNair to the event where he met other supporters of the cause. The teeny honoree rubbed shoulders with some of entertainment and the nation?s best including, Ben Affleck, Tandie Newton, Senator John McCain, and Maisha Soul.
