?LarkFest has had more than its share of rain over the years, so if the law of averages means anything, there should be beautiful weather this weekend for the 30th annual arts and culture festival.

Rain or shine, Lark Street?s street festival is always a hit, drawing close to 80,000 people who come out to make the scene and catch lots of free music on two stages ? at the intersection of Lark and Washington Avenue, and at the corner of Lark and Madison Avenue.

Former Soul Coughing leader Mike Doughty headlines the Madison Avenue stage, which will host six acts, including folk-soul group Motopony and We Are Jeneric. Solo artist Diego Garcia tops the bill at the Washington Avenue stage, which features singer-songwriter Jason Spooner, Alex Torres & his Latin Orchestra, and Blotto.
LarkFest also has a Kids Zone, a Silent Disco where dancers move to dance mixes while wearing wireless headphones, and Living Walls, an outdoor artist?s workspace on Hudson Avenue, between Lark and Willett streets.
