I don't understand why New Moon's book cover is a flower, Eclipse has a tearing red ribbon and why does Breaking Dawn have a chess game.
Could someone explain that to me.
Breaking Dawn's cover is a metaphor for Bella's progression throughout the entire saga. She began as the weakest (at least physically, when compared to vampires and werewolves) player on the board: the pawn. She ended as the strongest: the queen. in the end, it's Bella that brings about the win for the Cullens.
New moon was choosen by the publisher and stephenie meyer does not know why its on the cover and for eclipse im not sure it doesnt say on her website. hope that helps a bit!
Stephenie Meyer had nothing to do with the pictures on the covers of New Mon and Eclipse, so they are just there, they don't having any meaning to the book. Breaking Dawn's cover is a reference to Bella's vampire life, in the beginning she is the weakest then becoming stronger.
It's Prolli Just for a Design?
okeydokey.
***** SPOILER ALERT*********************************
1. New moon's book cover of a flower has NOTHING to do with the story because meyer had nothing to do with choosing the cover.
2. eclipse is a tearing red ribbon symbolizing her choice between jacob and edward and how ties must be severed. also, it represents how bella is never completely torn from her human life (as a teeny bit of the ribbon stays in tact).
3. the chess thingy represents how bella, at the beginning of the series, was thhe physically weakest character (a chess pawn)..but by the end of breaking dawn, she is the queen or the strongest player on the board as she is thhe new vampire:)
